Visualization in scientific computing, Computer Animation and Virtual Reality have become to the three hot topics in the Computer Graphics field.3-d graphic is the technological core of these three topics.Generally, the Academic Circles and the Industrial Circles hold that texture-mapping is one of the most effective approaches, it used to settle the problem of displaying the real world realistically.This paper briefly introduces the conception of the realistic image and the basic principle of the texture mapping technology, it also analyzes the possible questions in the process of texture mapping and the solutions to them.In the research of texture mapping, a program development environment of OpenGL has been put up which based on Windows platform, and an interactive system to simulate texture-mapping has been implemented. A detailed introduction of OpenGL technique has also been given in this paper. The simulation system implements texture-mapping of two-dimensional Model, and gives analyse and verify to the typical Parameters respectively which would influencing effect of texture mapping, such as coordinate transformation, illumination and texture filter.OpenGL doesn't provide high-level order on Objects Modeling, in order to solve the problem, the paper introduces the method of model importing into VC++program and objective to systematically control these models.At the end of the paper,in accordance with the problems in the whole process,a painstaking discussion has been given,which is on program performance optimization, analyses the problem of rapid anti-aliases in texture mapping emphatically.
