Recently, the technology of Multi-projector Display System develop quickly. It has been widely used in business. However, there is not enough commercial software of this type. We introduced the implementation of a Multi-projector Display System, and did some test on it.In this article, we introduce the system architecture of Multi-projector Display System. We try to elaborate system’s hardware layout, software architecture and the main data structure.Our system consists of three sub-system:geometry calibration sub-system, color calibration sub-system and display sub-system. We illustrate the main data structure of geometry calibration sub-system, describe its module’s function and data flow, and analysis algorithms used in it. For color calibration sub-system, We illustrate how it works and describe the Intrinsic Curve Library used in it. We also introduce the display sub-system.The difference with our past system is, I have made some improvements and optimization in the new one. For the geometry calibration sub-system, I simplify the data structure and data flow; for the color calibration sub-system, I develop the intrinsic curve library; for the display sub-system, I add support for multiple media streams, and much display effect.At last we describe our test on the system. We prove geometry calibration sub-system and color calibration sub-system can work correctly. We test if our system can support some video type, especially for super HD videos. This article also present our work on improving the system performance. |
