| The appearance of digital products makes piracy activities more and morerampant, which takes a serious threat to the digital products’copyright owners and therelated right owners’ legitimate interests. At the same time, it hampers the healthy andorderly development of the digital industry. Therefore, how to manager and protectthe digital products’ copyright has become an urgent problem to be solved.DRM(Digital Rights Management) is an effective technique to solve this problem,which leads to more and more researchers begin to pay attention to.Traditional copyright protection is based on Cryptography. But it can only assurethe digital products’ secure transport, it can’t protect them against secondarydistribution, illegal copy, the traceability of pirate sources and so on. On the basis ofdescribing the DRM’s fundamental concepts, architecture and related technologies,makes a deep research on DRM system. It needs to ensure the legitimate use of digitalproducts in the whole life cycle and balance the interests of the roles in the digitalproduct’s value chain. The main research results are as follows:(1) In-depth study of existing DRM model and technology, analyzes itsadvantages and disadvantages, proposes the modified method of DRM model.Considering the needs of each entity in the process of the digital product distribution,combined with various technologies, proposes a DRM model based on watermarking,and carries a detailed analysis of the model and related protocol. The protocolproposed in this article includes: RRP (Register Rights Protocol), RDRP (RegisterDistribution Rights Protocol), WTP (Works Trading Protocol), CDP (CopyrightDissension Protocol) and PTP (Pirate Traceability Protocol). Through this protocol, itcan realize the digital product’s copy control and the traceability of pirate sources.The protocol emphasis on the process of distribution in the participating entities, putsforward a trusted chain, which takes a detailed analysis in its’ formation process. Thetrusted chain also can help realizing the pirate tracing.(2) On basis of researching the improved general model of DRM, takes a specificstudy of the digital rights management in digital film, at the same time, makes adetailed analysis on the realization of the content distribution chain and DRM systemin digital film. In terms of the digital film’s DRM, makes a deep research in filmdistribution system, licensing granting system and the client, at the same time, gives their concrete design method. Besides, a detailed explanation is given to tell us how tomake digital film achieve successful play.This paper presents a DRM model based on watermarking, and proposes thecopyright protection protocol, which guarantees the interest of the roles in the digitalproduct’s value chain. On the one hand, it protects the interest of copyright owner; onthe other hand, it realizes the pirate tracing, copy control and so on, which promotesthe development of the digital industry. The application of DRM in digital filmproposes in this paper puts forward a new idea in the development of whole digitalfilm market. |
