With the rapid development of network and multimedia information technology, more and more digital products are transmitting and trading through the computer and Internet. The security problems of multimedia digital products, including copyright protection and user authentication, etc ,have become international issues over the world. This thesis is about digital watermarking technology and applications research based on fingerprint data. The main distributions of this thesis are:A Fingerprint Image Watermarking Algorithm in Time/Spatial Domain is studied: Most of traditional watermarks are pseudo-random sequences or binary images, which are of less information and worse security. In the algorithm of this paper, the watermark is 256 gray-scale fingerprint of people. Therefore , embedding fingerprint information into digital products can effectively track illegal distributors and protect the copyright of the owner .A Fingerprint Image Watermarking Algorithm Based on DWT-DFT is studied: In consideration of the profile of image is embodied in low frequency part and the minutiae is in high frequency part.In this algorithm, the DWT coefficients of the watermark are embedded in the subband of low frequency of the image. With the features of human visual system(HVS) taken into account during embedding to make the algorithm adaptive.An Improved Adaptive Image Watermarking Algorithm Based on Block DCT and Arnold Shuffling is proposed: With shuffling techniques in image watermarking, you can not only prevent illegal users from riddling the content of the images, but also disperse the distributing of error bits in order to enhance the robustness of watermarking.A Project of Authentication Based on Fingerprint Feature Data is studied: In this project, the first step is to sample the fingerprint of people and extraction its feature data through SecuGen Hamsterâ…¢(which is a kind of fingerprint sample device),then embed the fingerprint feature data into the image(both 256 gray-scale images and 24 bit color images).During the identification course,match the fingerprint feature data sampling from the SecuGen Hamsterâ…¢with that of picked...
