Research And Application Of Semantic Search Based On Semantic Web

With the growing popularity of Internet technology, the network has become thefirst choice for people to acquire knowledge by its vast amounts of data resources aswell as the timeliness of information. However, when people enjoy the conveniencebrought by Internet, some problem arises. People found that the current search modeis mostly used strict matching of keywords and text content when use the secondgeneration of search engines. It leads to the results highly dependent on the retrievalconditions, and it could not mine the implicit content in the information, also lack ofnecessary reasoning and associative ability, eventually lead to the precision rate of theretrieval results is still not satisfactory. So semantic search has been proposed.Semantic search is on the basis of the original retrieval mode which based on keywordmatching, give full play to the advantages of the semantic web, especially ontologytechnology emphasis on reasoning and interconnection. Therefore construct a searchmode can be modeled on human mind to operate as possible, to achieve the goal toimprove the retrieval results. In recent years, SaaS (Software-as-a-service) in serviceoriented model, with its low cost of hardware and software as well as flexiblepersonalized service, has become the development trend of the software industry, andthe concept of resource sharing advocated by it, is consistent with the originalintention of semantic search.In order to apply semantic search model to the SaaS model. Firstly, is to build aretrieval model which can give full play to the advantages of semantic relations. Onthe basis of the traditional search model, summed up three key issues which canreflect the features of semantic search, they are: pretreatment of search condition,semantically correlation expansion of key words, sort of the search results. Accordingto the characteristics of the semantic technology, gives the detailed design andproposes solutions. After that, bring the research result back to the retrieval model tobuild the framework of the retrieval model based on semantic technology. Secondly,describe the applicable environment of this model, combined with the needs andcharacteristics of the environment of semantic search model, complete the needsanalysis of the semantic search service platform. At last, from the needs of semanticsearch platform, divided that into registration/login, privilege management, semanticparameters management and semantic search modules, their core functions inaccordance with the software engineering process are designed and implemented. Sothat users can get a more personalized and more intelligent, accurate retrieval as aservice.From improve the retrieval results from the recall ratio, precision rate or from the perspective of to avoid the waste of resources, to meet purpose of information sharing,applying the semantic search to SaaS model has great practical significance. Itdeserves our further researching and designing.
