UAV has become one of the hot spots of equipment of new and high technologydevelopment. Its use value, especially military value has been widely accepted. Majormilitary powers UAV use range from reconnaissance, surveillance was extended to anarmed attack, its performance improvement. Data link technology is accompanied bythe development of UAV. At present, with a variety of new UAV continuous andextensive application, airborne mission equipment (sensors, radar and others)continuously improved and increased, the ground terminal and the airborne platformfor data exchange between the quantity also gradually to increase, The data linktechnology has put forward new and higher requirements. The technology is facingsevere challenges to further meet the needs of all types of UAV control systemrequirements.This paper presents a special UAV data link, compact and flexible design issuitable for being installed in the bulk and weight of limited UAVs, very suitable forsmall uav. Realization of measurement and control of real-time transmission ofinformation, thereby controlling the UAV flight and obtain investigation information.Establish and improve the data chain system, to realize reliable data exchange,increase the data transmission rate, can be timely and accurate and stable datatransmission and information transmission system. At the same time, the realizationof multi-machine systems compatible with the collaborative work, improve the useefficiency of UAV system, interconnection interoperability and sharing of resources,meet the UAV Communication Network and communication relay request.The UAV data link to the actual use of the demand is analyzed in detail accordingto the needs, this paper put forward the system design ideas and scheme. CombiningUAV data link features, gives data chain structure and then describe. Introduced thesystem design process; analysis of investment experience, presents the control datalink test and measurement methods, and the test and test data analysis is given, finallythe control data link system and development prospects. This UAV data link has already equiped in a type of UAV, its small volume, lowpower consumption, network characteristics are to meet the needs of users, to acertain extent, alternative similar foreign products.
