The Design And Realization Of School Enrollment System For Guangdong Institute Of Science And Technology

The annual school enrollment is very important to every college. Due to thedifferent process between colleges, building the right enrollment system willeffectively save resources and master the situation of enrollment. Guangdong Instituteof Science and Technology annual enrollment is above7000, the new report work tobe completed within two days, the new work is very hard. The target of our subject isgoing to resolve the above problems.We adopt B/S models to build school enrollment system. The developmentlanguage is Java, the server platform is Tomcat, and database is Microsoft SQL Server2005. We also use Struts2\Hibernate\Spring, chart components and data import/exportto Excel technology. In client side, we provide different operations according todifferent user authorities, such as function management of modules, dataupdate/browse, and so on. At the Server end user management, through thebackground information and deletions, database operations and other applications.The school enrollment system includes enrollment management, studentmanagement, dormitory management, financial management, and changes of Majorsand household management. At present we have completed the system, the system hasbeen put into use in September2011. Our system has achieved great effects and getswell received, the time of enrollment shortened from two days to one day.
