At this stage, the combination and application of embedded system and Ethernettechnology in the field of industrial control has become a major trend of development.Embedded Ethernet technology is a new technology, it will be able to make embeddedsystem to access Ethernet, which allows the IE browser visit the embedded Webserver through the Internet or local area network, thus realizing the remote monitoring,control, diagnosis, testing and configuration function to the embedded system.This paper presents a welding parameter monitoring scheme based on EmbeddedEthernet Web server, which can be used for monitoring of welding equipmentworking state, and ensure the welding equipment welding parameters meet therequirements of welding procedure specification. This article discusses the basicknowledge of Embedded Ethernet communication technology based on the above idea,and then designs and realizes the monitoring station hardware and software structureof the welding parameter monitoring system based on Embedded Ethernet Web server.This paper presents a monitoring system whose monitoring station core structureconsists of master-slave dual MCU, and MCUs communicate to each other throughthe USART serial. The slave MCU’s main function is to achieve the welding signa lparameter acquisition and storage, the master MCU’s main function is to realize theEmbedded Ethernet Web server. This paper designs the signal acquisition circuit ofwelding parameters based on the PIC18F452MCU, then designs and realizes themulti-channel welding parameter acquisition software module. This paper adopts anew independe nt Ethernet controller ENC28J60to realize the Embedded EthernetWeb server, and the ENC28J60communicates with the microcontroller through thestandard SPI serial. The microchip TCP/IP protocol stack is introduced in this paper,which will be applied in the monitoring and control system to realize the networkcommunication function. The system’s welding parameters abnormal indication andcontrol alarm module is designed in this paper, which is used to achieve real-timemonitoring of the anomaly welding parameter.The web monitoring interface of client is designed and optimization using theJavaScript language in this paper, which could provides a concise web monitoringinterface to the client and reduce burden of Embedded Ethernet Web server which hasa small capacity. Debugging experiment proved that the monitoring system can real-time sent thewelding equipment running status information (welding voltage, welding current andwelding speed) to the client browser in webpage data form, and it also can sentparameters or command information to the monitoring system, and finally realize themonitoring function of welding equipment operating parameters.
