With the development of the internet and information technology, the data israpid increasing and the scale of the data is continuously growing. The data tends toperform unstructured, continuesly growing, heterogeneous and ultra large scalefeatures. The requirement of enterprise to handle the storage of mass data,computing and processing has become more and more prominent. The method tostore and support high speed access of large scale data is becoming more and moresignificant. Therefore, the solution of these problems has been the key of distributedstorage and distributed computing.This paper has do research on the present cloud storage platform. It adopts therelational database engine into the cloud storage as the index. So the cloud storagesystem in this paper can support structured query. It use relational databaseprocessing engine’s proven technique to dispatch user’s structured query. It usesHBase as the persistent solution. It also provides extraction tools to load index datafrom HBase to relational database. Users can establish the index for cloud storageby the tools. So the system can support the structured query language by relationaldatabase’s proven technique and index data. This paper also designs and implementsa global metadata service, so the storage cluster can meet the request of metadatainformation’s persistence and consistency. It designs and implements a globaltransaction service to support the the requirement of global transaction.The main research results and innovations includ ing: adopt the relationaldatabase as the index and query process engine in cloud storage to supportstructured query language. Providing dynamic switching mechanis m of lock level. Itwill monitoring the runtime of the injected program and statistics the result of themonitoring result. Then it will change the lock level of the system when thestatistics result reach given threshold values.This paper presents a cloud storage whose index is based on relational databasebased. It has high performance, high reliability, easy of use features. It supports thestructured query language interface and provides a cloud storage which has a lowresponed time lattency by compared to other SQL-supported cloud storage.Providing an alternative model for cloud storage solution.
