The HIT test and training architecture—HIT-TENA is architecture of virtualtest proposed by HIT. It base on theU.S. TENA architecture and is a combination ofthe development status of domestic trials and training.To make sure that the resources of HIT-TENA can be accessed to thearchitecture successfully, it is necessary to inspect the specification of the interfaceof the resources.To solve this problem, the resource interface specificationinspection equipment is developed.Resources can access to HIT-TENA via RS-422/485interface, Ethernet, fiberoptic networks, or reflective memory network if their interfaces meets the interfacespecification.There are two types of software service interface of the resources, one is thecommunication protocol type, and the other is driver-type.Here,the industrial control computerprovided with related communicationboards is chosen as the hardware platform.Besides, some related applications aredeveloped.To make the resources to be inspected have the ability to connect to theinterface specification inspection equipment through the hardware, the basiccommunication test software is developed.There are a wide variety of communication protocols for different resources.To solve this problem, a communication protocol template is built based on theanalysis of existing resources. And softwarefor editing and generatingcommunication protocolis developed based on the template, which can be used toconfigure and generate the template of communicationprotocols for the resources tobe inspect.Communication protocol typeinterface inspection software is developed forthe driver-type resources, which allows users to load a resource communicationprotocol, support data encoding and decoding, and support the userto build theinterface inspecting programsfor the communication protocol type resourceswithout programming.For the driver-type resources, the driver-type interface inspect software isdeveloped, which support usersto load the drive files, get the drive interface functions, and support the userto build the interface inspecting programs forthedriver-type resources without programming.UML is taken for the requirements analysis,static modeling and dynamicmodeling of the software. The software is developed in Visual C++environment.The test results show that the resource interfacespecification inspectionsoftware can fully meet users’ needs, andis both reliable. Theequipmentcan inspecttheinterface of the resources to be checked.
