Nowadays, HF/VHF communications are widely used in terrestrial, marine and air communications, which are characterized by large coverage area, great capability for electronic warfare, good anti-destruction, high security and so on, and become an important part of the emergency communications. The platform of HF/VHF communication system primarily consists of four parts: ARM, FPGA, DSP and Lab VIEW. The research work in this thesis begins with HF/VHF communication system in which we make deep investigation into the implementation of LabVIEW Interface and ARM driver.The communication Interface adopts LabVIEW as its developing platform that was developed by National Instruments Company called Graphics Language, which has compiled data communication and processing module in terms of the subject content. Based on the method that using network interface as the communication interface and the LabVIEW multithreading thought, the software languaged in LabVIEW is designed and implemented in which functions such as data transmission between ARM and LabVIEW, correlation peak display, are realized. With the pattern of socket network programming, three port parallel processing mode are used in the ARM driver which served as the communication interface for ARM and the system interface. Simultaneously, with the character device driver as the basic framework, by setting up three different format data interrupt priority, data communication between ARM and FPGA are realized.
