With the growing socio-economic development, banks need to deal withmore and more financial business, the technology of manufacturing counterfeitmoney is increasing more and more superb traditional Counting pseudo-technicalinspection has been unable to meet the needs of the financial industry at thepresent stage. In this period of Intelligent developing in a high-speed,the newrequirement is necessary of new intelligent money counter:crowning wordnumber can be extracted while counting banknotes.In dealing with like this, for example, HD90such counterfeit money can’tbe identified by simple infrared inspection pseudo-magnetic inspectionpseudo-technical by online search banknotes crown word number is determinedfor counterfeit money.And can use this kind of image recognition technology to improveefficiency for the classification of notes or ticket. This ticket crown word numberidentification technology can also be applied in other areas.In this paper, DSP,FPGA, ARM is used as the core of hardware systemarchitecture, and the specific implementation method is: First digital signal afterAD conversion by the CIS image sensor scans banknotes image stored in theFPGA chip Ram, then FPGA sent to the DSP by the way of via interrupt data,after DSP finished reading the paper banknotes of the image stored in externalSDRAM and run number identification procedures to complete the identif ication,and finally sent the number identificatied to the ARM DSP through the SPI busin LCD screen to display.This article describes a number identification algorithm: the implementationprocess of the number identification algorithm and the recognition principle andverification the system from the recognition time complexity and numberrecognition rate.
