Safety management of scaffold is an important content of project safetymanagement. Accidents associated with scaffold are endless, which bring hugelosses to national and society. However, scaffold safety management involvesseveral processes (build-up, check and accept, maintenance, dismantle, etc.) andmassive factors (workers, working conditions, environment, etc.), which madethe situation very complicated. Existed method mainly rely on artificial operation,it’s inefficient and unreliable. The paper reviewed the scaffold safety management process, the normalsafety control points and five key safety control points(steel support beam, steelwire rope, whole displacement of scaffold, vertical degree of standing armrest, connecting tube) of scaffold are identified. The daily safety inspection contents of scaffold is integrated to Ipad,RFID technology is used to monitor the normal safety control points, Thereal-time monitor of the five key safety control points scaffold is based on RFIDand sensor technology. The data is analysed by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, which can give a warning to the safety managers when scaffold is insecurity. An investigation is designed to identify what factors can questionnairemethod of real-time monitoring and warning the application of the influencefactors of the influence the implementation of the method. Constructed areal-time monitoring and early warning method acceptance model, structureequation model is used to analyse the collected questionnaire. Suggestions aregiven to improve the real-time monitoring and warning methods. The methodproposed in this paper can improve the safety management of scaffold and reducesafety accidents.
