With the rapid development of real-time computing technology, the real-time system became crucial control component in more and more mission critical applications, such as medical devices, aircraft flight control, weapons, and nuclear systems. In order to prevent or reduce the catastrophic failures of those systems, it is necessary to research some safeguard mechanisms. As a very important safeguard measure preventing catastrophic failures to happen, the safety technology of real time system has become a hot topic.The state of art of safety technology of real time system is systematically analyzed in this thesis. The safety technologies both in application level and operating system level are researched. Based on the research, the safety kernel with reflection technology and temporal and spatial isolation mechanism are designed and realized in this thesis. In order to reduce the influence by the safety technology on response time of real-time systems, the combination-delaying buddy system is presented based on the classical buddy system. To sum up, some main works and contributiveness including:1) Through the contrast between safety and reliability, safety and security, the essential meaning of safety is expounded. It sets a good base for researching and designing safety technology.2) Based on the multi-level real-time reflection tower model, the functional components and reliability components are both described and divided with the reflection method. And the safety kernel with reflection technology is proposed without the supporting of reflected language such as Open C++ and Open Java.3) With feature of real-time system, the paper presents a multiple-level safety audit system. Flexible method of the audit storing enhances the dependability of audit information. Two-level real-time alarm and second analysis of audit information enhance the utility of audit information.
