Network Environment, The Three-dimensional Model Of Collaborative Browsing, Querying And Annotation Technology Research

Network-centric collaborative CAD is an interdisciplinary research area of CSCW, CAD design and computer communication technology. There are many studies and applications about the field in foreign country. The studies are mainly focus on 2D CAD, then less in the Network-centric collaboration about 3D CAD in homeland.After analyzing developing status in network-centric collaborative CAD, the thesis emphatically studies four aspects, as followed:Studying the information storing technology of 3D model based on network. Firstly, analyzing feature structure of 3D model, then constructing feature tree of 3D model according to the regulation of feature denoted, finally, storing information of 3D model in XML document.Studying the collaborative viewing technology of 3D model. 3D model can be rotated, zoomed in/out and panned in the browser by Java3D API. Adopting message communication mechanism, encapsulating alternate event by using XML technology which are captured and handed, then achieving collaborative viewing of 3D model.Studying the collaborative querying technology of 3D model, emphasizing in long-distance querying system of information of model. The system drives the querying engine of XML to find the information concerned based on controlling regulation.Studying the collaborative annotating technology of 3D model, emphasizing in adding, deleting, modifying, and hiding annotating information.Finally, new solution about reconstruction of model information is submitted. New solution technology about collaborative viewing, querying and annotating of model information based on Web is submitted.
