Nowadays, with the rapid development and wide application of informationtechnology, the development of management information system is vigorously promoted.Along with the continuous development of tourism, scenic spot passenger volume hasrisen sharply, so the current facilities in ticketing, check-in, and management are notsufficient. Thus, establishing an all-round, multi-level, three-dimensional and efficientelectronic ticket management system has become an important tourist attraction. Therefore,in this thesis, a set of electronic ticket management system is designed and developedaccordingly.Firstly, based on Gansu Baitashan scenic area, detailed analysis and planning is madeaccording to its geographical environment, internal facilities, management system and thedemand in the scenic spot.Secondly, combining the knowledge of software engineering, computer science andmanagement science and engineering, the design scheme of the project, including thesystem hardware and software architecture, application development platform, development language and database language selection, system maintenance and datasecurity, data design, data analysis and support, is discussed to achieve ticketing system, automatic fare collection, real-time monitoring, data statistics and other powerful scenicspot management functions.Lastly, the printed bar code stamped postcards are used as tickets, one ticket per yard.Based on the bar code information identification and management, the monitor of alltickets is achieved. Structure is adopted in the architecture, DELPHI is used in programdesign, SQL Server2000is utilized in database platform design. Meanwhile, single chipmicrocomputer technology, bar code technology, photoelectric recognition, asymmetricencryption technology and other advanced technology are used in developing andimplementing the management system. DELPHI language gives the system cross-platformnature, components gives the system scalability, reusability and maintainability. Thissystem uses simple, clear DELPHI interface, making user interface friendly, unified, feature-rich, speedy, simple, and easy to maintain.
