Design And Implementation Of The Accessing Key System On Virtual Desktop System

IT infrastructure is an important part of the company, but with the development and theexpansion of it, the cost of management and maintenance of the IT infrastructure willincrease extremely. These problems are solved just by the virtual desktop solution,. VirtualDesktop is a desktop-centric service based on C/S architecture. The user’s desktopenvironment is hosted on the server, allowing users to access the desktop through thenetwork using the RDP protocol. As a result, the desktop resources are centralized,bringing the convenience of centralized management, enhanced security of enterprise data,improving business continuity and the ability to quickly respond to changes in demand.The virtual desktop system descripted in this paper has two parts: Virtual DesktopManagerment Center and Virtual Desktop Accessing System. And this paper take charge ofsome key modules of the Virtual Desktop Accessing System. They include the key moduleof virtual desktop client and the RD gateway.Virtual desktop client is the portal of the virtual desktop. It is implemented with MVVMarchitecture, and this paper take charge of the View layer and the View Model layer. In theView layer, WPF is used to present the user interface, providing a beautiful UI and friendlyuser experience. In the View Model layer, virtual desktop client use the interface of theModel layer to authenticate user, authorize desktops, and connect to the remote desktopfinally.In order to connect the virtual desktop in LAN while you are connecting to the WAN, thispaper will design and implement a remote desktop gateway which is based on Linux. The RD gateway is the transfer station between virtual desktop client and the virtual desktop. Itwill connect the Vitual Desktop Client and the Virtual Dekstop, and transfer the socketbetween them.On the other hand, the remote printing feature provided by Microsoft has a deep couplebetween the remote desktop and the local printer driver. Therefore, this paper will design anew remote printing function based on Virtual Channel. It will redirect the printing datafrom the virtual desktop to the local desktop, letting user to get local PC printingexperience.So far, this project has been deployed in the data center of the China Unicom as demanded.And it’s well-reputed.
