This paper aims at establishing a Web-based control laboratory of tank level onthe type of THPFSY water-tank system which is the controlled object. At present,many engineering colleges face the problem of lacking process control equipment,and therefore it’s very necessary to establish a network laboratory to meet the need ofstudent’s experiment. The main research work in this thesis is as following.First, the article describes the current situation of domestic and internationalresearch on the process control of tank level and the development of Web-basedremote control laboratory and the results of current research.Secondly, we construct the THPFDY-1single-tank system’s model andTHPFSY-2double-tank system’s model, using two ways of experimental modelingmethod and mathematical modeling method, and the experimental modeling methodin this article has changed the traditional way of using the linear model to instead ofthe actual system, and finally we get the nonlinear model of the tank. In order toeliminate the effect of the interfering signal of the sensor to control, we design acomposite digital filter, and in order to protect the micro-pump, we design a protectivemodule. After this, tank control algorithms are studied. Positional PID algorithm andimproved PID algorithm are given, and the comparison of them shows the superiorityof the improved algorithm. To control two-order system, cascade control system isdesigned, comparison with general PID shows the advantages of cascade controlsystem.Finally, a Web-based remote off-line simulation and real-time control are done tothe controlled object. First, the simulation models and real-time models of thecontrolled object is uploaded to the network server; Then, control algorithms isdesigned by using SIMULINK and uploaded to the network server; Finally, off-linesimulation and real-time control are done to the water tank, and real-time monitoringand real-time changing the parameters of the controlled object online are done byusing visual monitoring software.
