Research And Implementation Of Control Terminal For Smart Home Based On Embedded System

With the rapid development of information technology and intelligent controltechnology, people have higher demands for living environment, smart home has becomea kind of inevitable trend. This topic proposed a design of control terminal based on a kindof ARM Mini2440hardware platform and a kind of ARM-Linux software platform forsmart home, Concrete implementation method is based on Internet, GSM network andvoice recognition. Specific problems for study is as follows:First of all, combined with the study of smart home development and trend in andabroad, this paper had analyzed and compared several kinds of intelligent terminal for thecurrent,according to the result we made choices including the way for home networkingand the method for control terminal at client. Through the analysis of system requirements,we built an information processing platform at home based on embedded processing unitS3C2440A and Linux systems. Besides, acording to the selected solution designed above,we analyzed the process of realization and designed a scheme for the hardware selectionand the connection mode of subsystems.Secondly, through the understanding of the characteristics of embedded systems, weset up a cross-compilation platform on PC for compiling. Acording to the result of contrastof the space we need to use and machine sapce, we knew that it was necessary to make ascheme to simplify the system memory, so that the user could have enough space to storefiles. And what we can do is to customize the kernel and renew the root file system.Thirdly, the software design of the intelligent terminal control system is given,Within the family, we put forward a design of versatile controller based on infraredtechnology. On the client side, thorough analysis of the key technologies of the three kindsof intelligent terminal, the paper gave a way to realize the function of control terminal viaembedded Internet, GSM network and voice recognition. Therefore, we realize thecommunication of client and home appliances.Finally, we downloaded the certain kernel and root file system to the ARM board torealize the experimental verification.
