With the rapid development of industrialization, the expansion of enterprise scale,industrial automatic control system is ever increasing demands on the automaticcontrol system control. But Electronic technology, computer network technologymake industrial control systems to decentralized, networked and intelligent direction,to solve the reliability, stability, real-time issues brought by the large systems.Industrial Ethernet technology and field bus technology, better adapted to the aboverequirements, are one of the main directions of development of applications inindustrial control technology.In this paper, CAN bus network replaces the commonly used RS232, RS-485,power line carrier, the current ring-bus method, improves the system’s anti-jammingcapability, expands the network distance, network nodes and data transfer rates,improves overall system performance.This system, developed by the use of ultra-low-power wireless data acquisitiondevices, makes the system easy to install, have obvious advantages without easywiring and no AC power supply applications. For example, the data acquisitionapplications for residential water meters, electricity meters, gas meters, etc.The connectivity of the system CAN network and the upper PC uses the CAN/USB interface card of better performance, the maximum data transfer rating up to1Mbps, compared with the commonly used RS-232, ISA or PCI interface with theCAN network having a large advantage.The data transmission style of the CAN networks combined with wirelessnetworks used by the system has the convenience of installation and use, a high datatransmission rate, an anti-interference ability, the stability of system job, versatilityand wide application and so on. CAN/USB interface card solves the shortcomings ofRS-232slow data transfer rates, improves the system’s overall performance. Thetechnology used by the project is the most advanced compared to the similar projects.The development of wireless testing and transmission module on intelligencedata, PCB circuit board design, network interface circuit design, the coding of thesoftware about intelligent detection and transmission control of data processing, thecoding of CAN-bus network protocols, the coding of monitoring software, systemgeneral assembly and testing, are conducted in-depth research and the initial resultshas been achieved.
