| Check on work attendance is one important activity in every department,which ensures that all activities go smoothly. With rapid development of computer technology and the Internet, every unit’s demand for management is becoming higher and higher. As the s ociety advances, competition is changing gradually from capital to talent. This makes it important the strategy of talent inwhich the evaluation of the staff’s performance is one important aspect. In thisposition, the traditional mode of personnel management has not satisfied the need for talent management. To raise efficiency and eliminate replacement in attendance management, fingerprint recognition, as the first choice, has become the first choice been widely employed for many units. Due to its convenience and reliability, fingerprint recognition has been widely employed in attendancemanagement. However, the current attendance management system can not necessarily be suitable to all units and sectors, and there is still much space for itsimprovement.Taking a certain university in the province as the study case, this thesis analyzes the currently-used attendance system of this university and the other systems related to attendance system, and this fingerprint attendance managementsystem is based on the requirement for human resources of this unit. This system is the secondary development of attendance management system for the existing fingerprint attendance machine.It can match the interfaces of the other management system and satisfy the need for the development of this unit.Chapter1deals with the background of fingerprint recognition attendancemanagement system’s design and realization and the emphasis of the secondarydevelopment in the existing fingerprint attendance system. Chapter2analyzesthe system functional and non-functional requirements on a basis of the investigation into the unit’s needs, and then describes this system in detail. Chapter3,based on the requirement analysis, carries out a system design. The system adopts the technical architecture of three-tier frame for java so as to ensure the system’s scalability, maintenance and so on, the. Firstly, the attendance business processes frequently-used in this unit are analyzed and the flow chart of the system’s main function is produced; secondly, the personnel management flowchart is analyzed, the functional modules are divided and the function of every functional module is designed; finally, according to the data relationship described by the data flowchart, the database of this system is designed. In Chapter4,the system is realized in accordance with the design and the attendance system implementation result map and implementation result map of every moduleare intercepted. In Chapter5, this system is tested by the functional map according to the system features, and at the same time all the test results are analyzed. The last chapter, based on the analysis, comes to the conclusion and makes comments on the improvement.Through the system test and the comparison with the other system of the samekind,the thesis reaches the conclusion: as long as the costumer terminal is fixed andthe attendance data are recorded, the staff at the server can analyze and treat the data;when the fingerprint is collected, the photo of the teacher is taken by the camera withthe tone; and at the same time, the replacement is avoided and this makes sure that theattendance record is valid and reliable; in the end, the test result is analyzed andsummed up and the weaknesses and how to improve it is pointed out. In sum, thissystem design is user-friendly and user-oriented, and can meet the attendancemanagement requirement and increase the attendance management efficiency of thisuniversity. |
