Design And Implementation Of Attendance Management System Using Fingerprint For Company

As one of the most important businesses of every enterprise, attendance management is used to inspect staffs’attendance. In personnel management, attendance management plays an important role, which is basis of salary and bonus calculation. The efficiency and accuracy of attendance management will directly affect the economic benefits of enterprise. Attendance management system helps companies standardize the attendance of employees, and improve awareness of service, as well as productivity of staffs. Nowadays, most enterprises use hand sign or attendance card as management method. But they are both unfair and inefficient. With the rapid development of computer technology and biotechnology, attendance management using fingerprint obtains more and more attention. We design and implement a kind of attendance management system based on fingerprint identification for Dalian FanHua Construction Company. The system includes administrator management, staff management, attendance management, device management and fault management.Using UML tools, requirement analysis and system design of attendance management system using fingerprint is described, which is terminal equipment and attendance management subsystem. Terminal equipment is used to identify and collection fingerprint; attendance management subsystem is responsible for data exchange. System development is based on Microsoft Visual Studio2010, which is a kind of the development environment. Microsoft SQL Server2008is used as the underlying database. For the system design, B/S structure of the three-tier model is selected as the overall system architecture. On the one hand, the three-tier structure is divided into three independent levels, which facilitates modular development. On the other hand, the three-tier prohibit guarantees data security.After system testing, attendance management system using fingerprint can almost meet the requirement of attendance management of Dalian FanHua Construction Company. It also improves efficiency and accuracy of attendance management, and reduces cost of attendance management. Additionally, the system accelerates the pace of intelligent and standardized management.
