A Study On The Management System Of Aerobics Referees In China

As a non-Olympic sport, why China can become an Aerobics power just having acted on international convention for15years is for the reason that China’s aerobics owns a marvelous trainers team, an excellent athletes troops, even an outstanding referees team. All of these are great foundations for good competition conditions. If we want to make it persistent, the referees’ team should be developed and improved. We need a referees’ team with high judging ability and high professional quality to adapt to international aerobics development and to promote China’s aerobics’ persistent development.Aerobics is a subjective scoring sport, as a result, referees play an important role in sport development and competition conditions. It is an immediate problem that China’s aerobics referees’ management system which aims to cultivate a high professional ability and high ranking referees’team must be established and improved. Such a research is deficient in China.This thesis analyses the training, referees’ appointing, referees’ drawing lots, supervising and evaluation of China’s aerobics referees’ management system by documentation, expert interview、 questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics, fills in a gap which hitherto existed in our research in this field. The results indicate that high ranking referees’ distribution has shows a great regional variation in the past3periods, the registration process of referees should be simplified, referees’ training venues haven’t been given consideration to the west area, the policies of cultivation, appointing of referees need attention to low-ranking referees, the rationality of current method of drawing lots should be adjusted to increase the chances of low-ranking referees, and current evaluation system must be improved for the reason that misjudgment, judgment omission, and wrong decision cannot be accurately, rationally and objectively evaluated.
