When college students study ideological and political education, contradictions andproblems existing in many factors could lead to accepting obstacles and unexpected resultsthat do not achieve the desired vision, which is called as acceptance obstacles. This thesis,based on the connotation of acceptance obstacles, theoretical basis and characteristics incollege students’ ideological and political education, further studies the significance ofsolving acceptance obstacles, analyses its causes as well as proposes its solutions, striving toimprove the effectiveness of ideological and political education of college students withuseful references.This thesis consists of four parts:The first part presents the connotation of acceptance obstacles, theoretical basis andcharacteristics in college students’ ideological and political education, which combs relativetheoretical basis and characteristics, providing for the in-depth research provides research ofthe next stage.The second part addresses the significance of solving acceptance obstacles, including theeffect on education aim, education process, education results and educators.The third part explains the performance and problems of acceptance obstacles, which isthe key of this thesis. There are five aspects: formation of rebellious personalities, lack ofin-depth discussion on the spirit, attitudes resisting education, questioning the validity ofeducation, distorting the essence of education. Based on the above five aspects ofperformance, this part gives a systematic analysis on the formation of acceptance barrierinfluenced by the subject and object of education as well as the central body and mediator ofeducation, providing a basis for the analysis below.The last part sets out solutions of college students’ ideological and political education. Inorder to eliminate the obstacles of college students’ ideological and political education andensure education effectiveness, I will state in the following five parts: setting correctly "threeviews"; improving the self-quality and accomplishment of educators; enhancing students’acceptance of initiative and consciousness; optimization of environment in ideological andpolitical education; full application of media in ideological and political education.In this paper, the study aims to improve college students’ideological and politicaleducation to accept obstacles theory, in order to enhance the actual effect of ideological and political education to provide theoretical basis for guiding the ideological and politicaleducation practice better.
