An Exploratory Study On The Educational Idea And Mode Of WenJin Academy, And The Enlightenment For Modern Education

College is a wonderful work in the history of Chinese education, which is a unique educational and cultural organization form in ancient China. It explores the education problem from a different angle, which greatly enriched the Chinese ancient education theory, making outstanding contributions to the history of ancient education thoughts. In recent years, with the shortcomings of Chinese education system has become increasingly prominent, as well as people on the Chinese traditional Sinology culture has become increasingly popular, the college education system, education thought and the academy culture has again become the focus of attention and research. As "the Four College" in our country, WenJin Academy in Xinzhou District has free and academic teaching methods. Its content of Education pay attention to moral and compatible, and open to explore ways of learning. All of these traits made it cultivated a lot of talents for Chu Huang area and become famous in China. It makes great achievements and impacts deeply, which is worthy of modern schools to learn. As the education mode changed from the exam-oriented education to quality education, education reform enter the difficult times, facing the challenges of knowledge economy and social, and exist many problems. The topic of this thesis is Educational idea and mode of WenJin Academy, the enlightenment for modern education. This paper focuses on the following questions: Firstly, straightening out the history of WenJin Academy from the aspects of the origin, the creation and its development. Secondly, in the teaching idea and mode of the WenJin Academy, the author summarizes the enlightenment to the people’s educational goals, the teaching system of absorbing others’ merits, the education strategy and the diligent and enterprising teaching idea, as well as the education mode which is the combination of teaching and research, the combination of self-study and debate, teaching open and listening free, led by the moral and the unity of knowing and doing. Thirdly, the author sums up the influence and achievements of WenJin Academy from the spirit of patriotism and national integrity, the broad charity culture, its branch and so on. Finally, analyze the enlightenment on modern education, including the development of diversified school running mode, strengthening the combination of teaching and academic research, giving full play to the spirit of freedom and democracy, open to cultivate students’ innovative thinking, efforts to establish a new teacher-student relationship.The author is committed to absorbing the essence from the education idea, teaching method and teaching mode, in order to get enlightenment, and make a comprehensive reform, training talent who is able to adapt to the development of society and the world, realizing the China dream that national prosperity and national rejuvenation.
