In an age of information and globalization, the computer network and the information technology are changing the appearance of the human society and people’s life, going deep into the field of education and teaching. Thus the educational informationization became a focus of attention of the global society. With the advancement of education informationization process, the internationalization of education, which makes students accessible to internationalized and diversified education, becomes the inevitable trend. Cross-regional and cross-cultural collaboration among colleges, as one of the most important ways to realize the education internationalization, has been valued and studied by many colleges and universities.Intercollegiate collaborative learning started late in our country, and there were little cross-regional intercollegiate collaborative learning activities and rarer mode of remote simultaneous classroom. While involved with how to successfully design and organize remote simultaneous learning activities that is cross-regional intercollegiate collaborative, we are now still lack of theoretical and practical research, without available experience and methods.As a demonstration unit of educational informationization, our university goes straight on the forefront of educational informationization, energetically explores and tries hard to innovate education teaching mode. To boost the co-construction and the sharing of educational resources of good quality, and to implement the school-running thoughts of One Body Two Wings, our delegation visited to Taiwan’s universities, advancing the inter-school cooperation and exchanges on both sides.In this paper, the author took the music appreciation lesson, a remote simultaneous classroom cooperation projects collaboratively developed by NTNU and CCNU, as an example, interpreted comprehensively the cross-regional intercollegiate collaborative remote simultaneous classroom, and analyzed the problem of construction and application practice about it. Under the background of internationalization of education informatization, the author analyzed the necessity and feasibility of intercollegiate collaboration. By defining the related conception and analyzing the research status and the construction and application status of remote simultaneous classroom, the author pointed out the existing problem and referential lessons of the remote simultaneous classroom.In this paper, the author introduced the cross-regional intercollegiate collaborative remote simultaneous classroom’s construction of environment, hardware environment, software platform, the mechanism of operation guarantee and so on. The author took the music appreciation lesson as an example to explore the teaching application of remote simultaneous classroom, and chose two classes as an example to analyze its teaching effects, combed the problems existing in the practice, proposed the corresponding countermeasures, and made tentative exploration to the construction and application of intercollegiate collaborative remote simultaneous classroom, in order to provide some consult for educational practitioner to design and organize the intercollegiate collaborative learning activity successfully, and then provide some meager inspiration and reference for relevant research and practice.
