"Social Bond" Rupture: Urban Mobility Causes Of Juvenile Delinquency

Currently,the city has become a minor flow of juvenile crime in the major population groups,according to the theory of Hirschi’s social connections,he believes the main reason for juvenile delinquency is to connect their "social bond" loose or broken, that is, society does not have effective control on them.Hirschi regards the "social bond" as a social control in four areas-attachment, commitment,involvement and belief.Among them,the attachment means an individual or group to others feelings or feelings,including parental attachment,school attachment and attachment to the peer group; commitment to the risk that the individual rational investment and carry out criminal acts undertaken in society, including transition to adult status,access to higher education and career; involvement refers to the time and effort to participate in traditional activities,one is traditional work,sports, entertainment and hobbies,one is the traditional school-related activities;belief refers to the acceptance and recognition of common values,including the degree and extent of the rationalization of criminal convictions.I draw on Hirschi’s "social bond" theory, and based on104cases from14to18years old of juvenile crime’s statistics and a brief description of sample contingency table analysis, and14cases from14to18years old of criminal urban mobility boy interviews in order to make a tentative interpretation. Meanwhile, I make appropriate adjustments and modifications according to Hirschi’s "social bond" theory.first, increase the workplace,the community and in prison companions attachment to attachment factors; commitment factor is divided into education and professional experience,as well as expectations of education and occupation; involvement is divided into peer groups involved in exchanges and virtual life two types of activities related to the world;belief is divided into the legal concept of the degree and extent of crime rationalization.Finally,based on the above analysis,combined with the practice of social justice,social justice fixes described "social bond" of the specific process, namely how to enhance urban mobility social justice juvenile attachment in practical work,commitment, positive involvement and belief.
