Since the beginning of the21st century, social work career ushered in a golden opportunity for development in China. Encouraged by the Government, the process of professionalization of social work rapidly is advancing, but can not be ignored, the current rate of loss of social workers is relatively high. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon has become urgent task. This paper attempts a sample survey of social workers in Shenzhen, to answer this question, through the investigation of occupational mobility will and the status. The study found that:most social workers have the intention of occupational mobility, of which more than half will choose to change jobs; The occupational mobility motives are work-related stress, low salary, social recognition, the dehumanization institutions management mode, and low personal accomplishment; The factors of Willingness to change jobs are:gender factors, men are more likely than women to change jobs; career reasons, based on interest are more likely than non-interest to change jobs; vocational evaluation, the profession evaluation is more negative, the career change will is more strongly; burnout, the deeper the degree of burnout, career change will more strongly; job satisfaction, the lower job satisfaction, career change will more strongly; Occupational adaptation, adapt to lower the degree of social work career, career change will more strongly.The high occupational mobility will is mainly because of the social development of the industry itself not perfect, making social workers difficult to establish a stable career development expected, and eventually resulting high occupational mobility wishes. So, the Government should ensure and increase financial investment in social work, and establish an effective financial mechanism; improve various laws and regulations; perfect set of social jobs, vigorously develop civil society institutions; improve the agency personnel management system and the social worker assessment mechanism, reform social work incentives; publicize social work, and constantly improve the social recognition.
