Analytic geometry is an important part of high school mathematics knowledge system. Itis difficult to grasp the students in the part of the learning process. The scores rate of analyticgeometry section is relatively low in the entrance examination questions, so it is necessary tostudy the learning part of the knowledge. The implementation of the new curriculumadvocates to develop students’ ability to analyze and solve problems, so students need tomaster certain mathematical ideas to help learning math knowledge. In this paper, the affect ofmathematical ideas in analytic geometry in the learning process is researched. I hope it isuseful in the teaching and learning in the future. In the process of writing the thesis, firstly,combining reactions of students in the analytic geometry process of teaching. I accessedliterature about mathematical thinking, and explored the application of mathematical ideas inthe analytic geometry process of teaching on the theoretical level; secondly, according to theresults of theoretical studies, I wrote questionnaires and interviews outline.Surveys andquestionnaires were made in the form of interviews of three high schools to investigate inRenqiu. Wish to conduct research on the following issues:(1) the application of mathematicalthinking for students of different grades in the learning process;(2)for students of differentlevels of school in the learning part of the application of analytic geometry mathematicalthinking;(3) Analytic Geometry part of the subject of the application of different types ofmathematical thinking; Lastly, I made conclusion from the survey data for statistical analysisand proposed some suggestions about the teaching and learning process and the application ofmathematical ideas in analytic geometry, hoping it is helpful to the next part of studentlearning analytic geometry knowledge.The paper concluded:1, The application of mathematical thinking for students of different grades in the learningprocess: good students in the learning process will be proactive to get mathematical thinking.They are good at summing up after school, and accumulate in the problem solving process tohelp make more use of mathematical ideas. Looking for solving ideas and methods;underachiever behave more passive, unconscious to acquire mathematical thinking.2, For students of different levels of school in the learning part of the application of analytic geometry mathematical thinking: The results can be seen from the statistics that the differencebetween provincial demonstration schools and township middle school students’ mathematicalthinking big. Students in better schools are better at the application of mathematical ideas tohelp solve problems, and poor students studying applied mathematics student thinking is notvery satisfactory.3, The application of mathematical ideas in different kinds of questions: in dealing withobjective questions (multiple choice) and subjective questions (fill in the blank to answerquestions), the application of mathematical ideas are quite different, especially to compilationquestions, the student is weak in Applied Mathematics ideal.4, From the perspective of the overall survey, for sophomore students in the learning processof the application of mathematical thinking is not very satisfactory. The process of teachinghigh school analytic geometry should instill awareness to strengthen mathematical thinking.
