| The reform of ideology and politics education in middle schools energizes their ideology and politics courses. It is proved that "social and practical events are the bases of the formation and development of students’ideology and morality"."Human beings development could only result from the interaction among all kinds of relationships and human activities". Therefore, the reform of the philosophy of education, the methodology of learning and the idea that "encouraging students to learn from practice and develop from participating in activities" have become the hot spot in the reform of ideology and politics education. After the reform of new courses, comparing the new standards of ideology and politics courses to the previous course content, the most magnificent significance is that the new courses allocate more weights to the function of activities in the classes, i.e. the corresponding activities are suggested after the lessons. Hence, the research of activities in the ideology and politics courses shall be enhanced. To adapt to the new curriculum reform, this article focuses on the issue occurring in the ideology and politics courses and the analysis of these issues and discusses the relating strategies.By referring to a great amount of literature and analyzing these materials thoroughly, this article studies the teaching ideology and politics in class and contributes to the development of ideology and politics education. This article consists of four parts which discuss the activities in ideology and politics courses in middle school. The first part mainly discusses the theory of ideology and politics education in middle school, including the meaning of class activities and the necessity of conducting these activities. The second part is to point out the main issues occurring in the ideology and politics courses in middle school. For example, the ignorance of goal of class activities and that activities are too formal and boring and lack of initiation. The third part generally analyzes the issues of the class activities of ideology and politics in middle school. The fourth part establishes the strategies of the improving and developing class activities of ideology and politics. These are the key points of this article. First, the class activities shall be conducted based on the goal. Second, to persist humanistic care and pay attention to imparting emotion. Third, teachers’ leadership and guidance are of the same importance and let students play the dominant role. Finally, to optimize the design of lectures and actively extend class activities.Based on goal of class activities in ideology and politics courses in middle school, this article discusses the main issues occurring in the activities in ideology and politics classes. Additionally, this article also explores new methodologies of ideology and politics class activities under the trend of the reform of new curriculum and proposes strategies of improving class activities through studying the role of class activities in ideology and politics courses and reforming the previous teaching form. |
