Children are an important group of social work services,children emotional counseling is an important part of children’s social work no matter at home or abroad.In this paper,as an example, the author points to a group practice work, which have achieved good results in developing children’s emotional management ability. The author makes a research and discussion on it to provide some practical experience and instructive recommendations for the practical application of group work in this area.This paper is divided into seven parts.The first part is an introduction.The author reviews the relevant research on children’s emotion management and the application of group work in emotional management.It provides guidance and reference for the practical study of this article.Then,the author illustrates the research ideas and research methods.The second part is the definition of the concept and theoretical analysis,including the definition of the children, emotional management, group work,and the theory analysis of children emotional management group.The third part is a specific program of group work.Firstly, the project background and assessment of teem needs are introduced;again, the specific scheme and a detailed analysis of the activities of design principles are introduced.The fourth part is the implementation process of the group.In this part, a detailed record of the implementation process of each group is introduced,including the moving target, content and activity course.The fifth part is the group evaluation,including process evaluation and outcome evaluation.The sixth part is revelation of the practical application.Firstly,application of the principles and skills of practice in the first group are summarized,these are the role of inspiration and reference.Secondly, the unique advantages of group work in children’s emotional management is analyzed.The seventh part is the summarization and reflection.On the basis of highly summarizes about the full text research content,the author reflects the inadequacies of the study to provide direction for further research in the future.After assessment, the structure of children’s emotion management ability training team develops well, the members of the team were very satisfied. They have learn more knowledge about emotional management, and the emotional stability of them is improved. The purpose of improving children’s emotion management ability was achieved. With summarizing, the author thinks that the attention to team members is needed when making the team practice, according to the differences of children. The highly individualized principle should be followed, while the arrangements should be novel, interesting and reasonable. At the same time, it is important to use skills as demonstration, control and role playing. On the basis of practice, the author have also found that the team work has unique advantages in children’s emotion management ability. It can not only provide children with relaxed emotional learning atmosphere and interactive learning environment, but also strengthen children’s emotion management ability in a short time. And, it is replicative and promotional in children’s emotion management.
