In twenty-first century, information technology makes a spurt of progress. The great changes have taken place in life, learning and working and other aspects of people, therefore, in order to adapt to the information society, people must have some information technology capabilities. The primary and secondary information technique education is more and more attention in our country, the new curriculum reform put forward the goal of information technology education is the cultivation of students’ Information Literacy, So, what teaching method to use to better cultivate students’ Information Literacy became a research focus on information technology education researchers, in this case, the Task-driving teaching method emerge as the times require.Task-driving teaching method is based on a constructivist theory as the core and other kinds of teaching theory, which emphasizes the role of students, to enable students to complete specific tasks based on the old knowledge to construct the meaning of learning.At present, many educators have concentrated on the study of Constructivism Theory. They have adopted Task-driving teaching method in their teaching practice. However, because lack of theoretical research, simple understanding of task-driving, the unsatisfying design of the task and the simplistic appraisal, So many problems appeared in the practical teaching, the application of the Task-driving teaching method have been blocked.In this study, the author analysis the Task-driving teaching method through theoretical study, and applied to the information technology teaching in high school by the contrast experiment.This study consists of the following five parts:Part Ⅰ:It introduces the research background, the research status at home and abroad, the research significance and the research content and method.Part Ⅱ:It probes the elementary concept and theory of the Task-driving teaching method, which includes its concept and characteristics and the theoretical basis. And it introduces the general situation of information technology course in senior high school. Including its property and the task and goal of information technology course in High School under the new curriculum reform, at the same time, the author makes a brief introduction to the school. Part Ⅲ:Designing the teaching mode of Task-driving teaching method in the course of high school information technology. And then Ⅰ explain and elaborate the various parts of the teaching mode.Part Ⅳ:It discusses the teaching experiment of the high school Information Technology courses under the Task-driving teaching Mode. Design the questionnaire to choose experimental class and normal class; design the teaching case and implement it in two classes; after the implementation, collect data and statistics, analysis the data, at last, draw a conclusion of the experiment.Part Ⅴ:It is about the summary and outlook of the research. On the basis of the summary of research, I elaborated the conclusion of the study and analysed the shortages of the study. Finally, I made a further forecast about the application of Task-driving teaching method in information technology in Senior high school.
