The new curriculum reform concept emphasizes to cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability as the core.The Guiding Outline of Information Technology Course in Primary and Middle schools(trial)puts forward that information technology course should enable students to exercise knowledge and skills in the process of completing tasks,and train students' ability to analyze and solve problems.Thus,"task" plays an important role in teaching.Therefore,task-driving method is widely used in information technology teaching.Task-driving method,guided by Constructivism theory,helps to cultivate students' ability of independent inquiry,cooperation and innovation,thus to improve students' information literacy.In the investigation of junior high school information technology,the authors found that although teachers used task-driving method,its effect was less prominent than traditional teaching,there were still some problems.Therefore,this research makes a theoretical study of task-driving method.Through the form of students' questionnaire,teacher interview and classroom observation as well as available surveys' analysis,we found that there were many problems such as the deviation of teaching situation,the lack of formation and development of teaching evaluation and the lack of openness in task design.Based on these problems,the teaching process model and evaluation scale were designed.Meanwhile,some measures proposed,including optimizing the teaching situation,making the teaching evaluation mode diversification,designing tasks reasonably and other teaching strategies and suggestions.All these might provide references for information technology teachers in junior high school and effectively solve the problems of teachers in teaching,so as to help improve the teaching effect of task-driving method in junior high school information technology course.
