Since the information era is coming, the information technology has become a basic skill for people's daily work, study and living-made. The wide establishment of the information technology in the secondary schools, the study of information technology has become a hot-spot. Facing this requirement of practice, according to the thorough method and teaching practice, this thesis carries out primary study and practice based on the task driving method in the secondary school's teaching, which applied the information technology: the characteristic of information technology class has decided that the education of information technology should not be stereotyped by the traditional method to teach, learn and check.It's better to adopt the concept of education concentrating on the students, which can promote the teaching methods of co-operation study and self-orientation study. Task driving teaching pattern is a modern teaching pattern which is suitable for this principle. It goes through the teaching process from three stages: design task, act task, finish task. The teacher and students focuses on the task of doing some activities, which would maintain students'long-time interest, and the students can consummate the task in the light of initiatives and deepen study, which are sure to acquire knowledge, skills and form their own capability and consciousness.By the practice of the information technology both at domestic and overseas, this thesis can be divided into five parts. First, it discussed the basic characteristic of the task driving method. Then, it probes into the method basis of the task driving method in the information technology class of the secondary school. Moreover, it introduces how to apply the task driving method to deploy the teaching design. Furthermore, it analyzes some teaching cases. Finally, from the perspective of past and future, it analyzes the task teaching method further. And it concludes that the task driving method fits for the information technology in the secondary school's teaching and promotes the teaching efficiency.Applying to the task driving method in the information technology class of the secondary schools, the main aim is to seek and establish a teaching pattern with secondary school's teaching characteristic.
