In the new curriculum reform, mathematics teaching need to take the good and discard the dregs on the basis of traditional education, but what kind of math education is suitable to the development of the students? Mathematics teaching case is a true reflection of the mathematics teaching basic condition. From the case study of mathematics teaching, we can find some problems in mathematics education and teaching to guidance of mathematic teachers and improve their professional level. At the same times, it also has a certain reflective and timeliness, therefore, mathematics teaching case studies have been widely used in mathematics teacher’s scientific research. However, the current mathematics teaching case studies appeared many problems in the process, seriously hindered the teacher growth and the development of mathematic education.In order to understand the specific situation of the domestic mathematics teaching case studies, I chose the eight kinds of journal of mathematics teaching which are linked to mathematics teaching, The eight kinds of journals about mathematics teaching are accessible to ordinary teachers, so can reflect the basic condition of mathematics teaching case studies. Then choose the case research papers about mathematics teaching as sample which have published in January1,2013to December31,2013in the8kinds of journal. First selected102papers which are filtered from the number and the related degree; Secondly, Because the case study in economic is nature,so I reference the basis of case study in the economic management, aimed at the gathering process of mathematics five basic aspects and extracted19key indicators, and apply it to the selected102mathematics teaching case study makes a preliminary evaluation, nonstandard problems found in the study; The third part, starting from the purpose of this study, the problems that exist in the mathematics teaching case study made relevant suggestions. Finally is mathematics teaching outlook and defect of case study method. Described mainly from the following four aspects:First, As a scientific research method, The case of mathematics teaching study has a strong optional gender and the inevitable subjectivity; Secondly, the case of mathematics teaching is mostly qualitative analysis; Thirdly, this method is easy to be affected by the personal biases of researcher; Fourth, the selection of research data need to spend a lot of time and energy.The research is emphatically from researchers in mathematics teaching case studies, research methods, theoretical support of education and teaching reflection on mathematics teaching. So making the mathematics teaching case study more highlight its valuable. At the same times, the author also hopes to pay attention to the standardization of the teaching case studies through this study, and shorten the time of teachers of mathematics to the expert teachers.
