This study is aimed at investigating the current status on the application of the errors in chemistry on high school students and teachers, and putting forward a series of specifically solving strategies as well. In the research, the method of observation, literature review, questionnaire survey, interview and analysis of the statistics are mainly adopted. Among which the main method is the method of questionnaire survey, which conclude two part, one is for the high school students and one is for the high teachers. the questionnaire survey for the students from different grades in Wuhan No.11Middle School are designed from four projects, which conclude the conception, attitude, behavior and strategy to chemistry errors, combined with the questionnaire survey on teachers and the interview on some students, we can know the current situation about what they think about the application of chemistry errors.The result shows that, firstly, from the students’side, all the students in the high school treat the errors in chemistry with a positive attitude. And they realize the importance of error and do the correcting and finishing, but they are not so active to do that and lack of strategies.According to the analysis from the questionnaire survey, we can find that the students in senior1get higher score than the other students on the projects of conception, attitude and strategy. And the students in senior3get highest score on the project of behavior. But the students in senior2do much worse than the students in other grades on all projects. In addition, no matter in the whole students or in each grade, the students who are good at studies get better score on the four project than the other students, and girls do better than boys in the application of errors, what’s more, the largest score gap between the boys and girls appears in senior2.From the teachers’ side, we can see that they can totally recognize the necessity of the application of error, but the supervision and some effective guidance is not enough.According to the results, some advice and strategies are put forward from four kinds of relationship which including the students themselves, the students with each other, the teachers themselves, the teachers and the students in order to help them get some improvement to apply chemistry errors effectively based on the analysis to the cause of errors. Firstly, we should help to improve the application ability to chemistry errors, including to find the correct ways to do the gathering and collecting, correcting and introspection, reviewing and studying. Secondly, maximize the affection of errors application between the students, including to exchange and share the errors and to explain the errors between each other. Thirdly, enhance the teachers’ monitoring capability of errors application, including to let students know the meaning of error collecting, to supervise the correcting of errors and to help the students to prevent the appearance of errors. Fourthly, improve the teachers’ ability to make use of the errors, including to pay attention to the result of the error application, and to do some important recordings.At last, on the basis of the results above, we introspect the insufficient of the survey and put forward some further expection.
