Element periodic law is one of important basic principle of chemistry in high schoolchemistry, overall understanding to the student knowledge element compounds has animportant role in more of a compound knowledge of macro elements micro elementproperties and element symbols to establish inner link of the connection point.This paperselect triple characterization of chemical theory as the core concept of element periodiclaw teaching design, to explore the teaching design scheme based on the idea of periodictrends, provide a glimmer of teachers in the concept of triple characterization of teachingdesign case.This paper on the periodic trends knowledge ontology and teaching design case arereviewed on the basis of existing research, based on the relevant theoretical research ofchemical triple characterization, on element periodic law of teaching content, learning,teaching emphasis and difficulties are analyzed, especially for students in learning elementperiodic law knowledge and related experience before the ability to do the questionnairesurvey, the survey results using SPSS19.0carried on the thorough analysis. On this basis,through the practice to theory of chemistry teaching experts and excellent teachers askthem to put forward in the form of amendments, to repeat revision of teaching design,finally formed can better reflect the concept of triple characterization of element periodiclaw of teaching design. At the same time, the author reflected on the entire design process,relevant teaching Suggestions are given.The paper is divided into nine parts. The main contents are as follows.1. Expounds the breakthrough point of the thesis.2. Relevant research literature on periodic law of elements were summarized, on theone hand, sort out the periodic trends related definition of concept, clarify the discoveryand development process of periodic trends; On the other hand selected10representativeinstructional design, from the idea of teaching, learning, target, thinking and analysis,summarizes the characteristics and disadvantages of existing research.3. A clear purpose and task of research.4. A brief introduction paper research theoretical basis for teaching design flow. 5. With triple characterization as a core concept of element periodic law of teachingcontent are analyzed.6. After clear to probe the content and scope, design and implementation of thePeriodic trends knowledge survey questionnaire, statistical analysis and test results bySPSS19.0.7. Repeated adjustment on element periodic law of Shandong science and technologypress instructional design, until the establishment of the ideal solution, and a summary ofthe whole design process of reflection.8. Research conclusions and gives some suggestion.9. To sort out the problems found during the research process and recommendationsfor subsequent research.This study has the value of research results and conclusion.(1) The student’s understanding of cyclical things more focused on their recent studyon the contents of other disciplines.(2) Based on triple characterization of periodic trends of instructional design make thedesign process smoother, easier to form certain logic between knowledge, help studentsunderstanding of periodic trends.(3) Triple characterization of the improvement of learning ability can promotestudents chemical academic level of ascension.(4) From the Angle of the triple characterization design element periodic law ofteaching, to help students to build location, structure and properties link.
