Chemical science is characterized by understanding matter at the microscopic level, describing matter in the form of symbols, and creating materials at different levels.Corresponding to this is the unique thinking mode of chemical science:the "macro-micro-symbol" thinking mode. This paper takes the contents of the “Elemental Compound” knowledge unit in the textbooks of “PEPP”,“SULT-education”,and “Rue Education” as an example, and uses the three-character thinking as a guide to separately represent the three-character thinking in the three versions of textbooks,Condition quantification and qualitative analysis.First of all, according to the existing researches on triple characterization, the operational definitions of macroscopic, microscopic, and symbolic elemental compounds are given respectively, and the reliability test of this definition is given; Then, according to the above criteria, the three characterizations are used as guidance to qualitatively analyze the five elements of “Sodium,Iron,Chlorine,Nitrogen, and Sulfur” in the textbooks for People Education,Jiangsu Education, and Luke;Quantitative statistical analysis based on qualitative analysis results,The three-level representation of "macro-micro-symbol" is divided into three levels based on the completeness of representation,The overall distribution of the three levels of representational thinking in the compilation of the three versions of textbooks, and the comparative analysis of the level of triple-character thinking in the compilation of metallic and non-metallic elements,In addition, the three-character thinking level was subdivided into seven types of thinking, and the overall distribution of the types of thinking in the three versions of textbooks was compared and analyzed, and the distribution of metallic and non-metallic elemental thinking types was compared.Comprehensively analyze the distribution of thinking in teaching materials, taking sodium as an example, try to compile a small section of teaching materials, and propose suggestions for the compilation of teaching materials. It is hoped that this study will help in the compilation of textbooks and teachers’ understanding of textbooks. |
