Research On Present Teaching Situation And Strategies Of Winter Sports Project Among Colleges In The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

With the development of the times，The importance of talents has becomeincreasingly prominent, and has become an important indicator to measure acountry’s comprehensive national strength level.The premiere task ofuniversity is to cultivate high level talent. Physical education in university,as an important part of higher education, directly influences the quality ofuniversity. Nowadays, people become aware of the effects of winter sports inthe improvement of talented people’s quality. Winter sports, due to theinfluences of season, are different from summer sports in no matter theteaching contents or the teaching methods. Thus it becomes an importantproject in how to teach well a winter sports lesson, how to ensure the lessongoes smoothly and with high effect, how to improve students’ physical qualitythrough the winter sports lesson.Inner Mongolia is an important province that go across China’s northeast,northwest. Because of it unique geographical conditions, winter there is longand the temperature there is low which is almost the same with the Heilongjiangprovince, Liaoning province, and Jilin province, the three provinces ofnortheast China. Thus most of the scholars chose high schools, universitiesin the three provinces of northeast China as their research objectives, butpay little attention on Inner Mongolia whose comprehensive climate conditionis almost the same with the three provinces. Thus this thesis choosesuniversities in Inner Mongolia as research objective, and adopts face to faceinterview, questionaire, data collection, data analysis and logical analysisas its research methods. Through these methods, this thesis will do an analysison the winter sports in Inner Mongolia.Through the research, the author of this thesis find that all the wintersports of universities in Inner Mongolia get developed, and each universityowes a team of physical teachers of talented physical education technique andof proper ages. All these students show a positive participation in thedevelopment of winter sports. The process of winter sports in Inner Mongoliapresents a good trend in Inner Mongolia. However, there are still some problemssuch as the mess of classroom order, sports equipments cannot get timelymaintenance, a lack of emergency protection staff and equipments, the qualityand quantity of teaching cannot be ensured, single teaching methods and simpleteaching evaluation, and so on. For these problems, this thesis provides the following solutions: firstly, universities should improve administrativestrength while implementing the central government’s spirits; secondly,besides the supervision of teachers, universities should also pay moreattention on teachers’ training; thirdly, universities should improveteaching contents and teaching materials; fourthly, universities and teachersshould try all they could to prove students’ subjective initiative; fifthly,universities should organize all kinds of winter sports’competitions.
