| Vocabulary is one of the three elements of language. Vocabulary teaching in primary school plays a very important role. Teachers try to find ways to improve the effect of vocabulary teaching, but there still exist many problems in the mastery of vocabulary. The story pedagogy in the field of education has been paid much attention. With the deepening of the study, the positive significance of the story pedagogy is obvious to all, and also reaches a consensus in education. Taking Primary School English vocabulary teaching for example, this study mainly discusses the following aspects:1.Through the story pedagogy, to enhance students’ interest in learning English and to create the active atmosphere in class.2. To improve the students’ ability of understanding, memorizing and using vocabulary. It takes16weeks to do the experiment. In order to improve the students’ interest in learning English, the author chooses the stories which are related to the real-life of students. The author uses SPSS statistics software to analyze the data which include pre-test, classroom observation, post-test, the students’ questionnaire after the experiment.After the experiment on the story pedagogy in Primary School English vocabulary teaching, findings are as follow:Students become active in class, enjoy expressing themselves and interact with teacher and other students. The students’ learning motivation has improved greatly. The results of the experiment have fully proved:The story pedagogy was recognized by the students, it also creates a larger space for the development of students. Students can fully express in the English-speaking world. The exploration of the story pedagogy brings life to the current Primary School English Teaching and educators will go to create a platform for the development of students and enable students to develop freely. |
