Moral education of rural left-behind children has become the outstanding problems insociety. Although many scholars have carried out a number of meaningful around thisproblem, I believe that there is still a need to explore further. The research found that thereare a few questions about rural left-behind children in China in terms of moral education:Firstly, the content of moral education is lagging behind; secondly, moral education’smethod is wrong; thirdly, the level of teachers is generally not high.This article has depth analyzed the underlying causes of these problems, firstly, judgingfrom the family reasons I believe that the lack of parental care of children left behind inrural areas, inadequate care of the children left behind guardian and family moral educationmoral literacy is not high has caused deviation in left-behind children’s moral character.Secondly, schools are lack of special attention to the children left behind、lack of moraleducation content for and lack of effectively communication and interaction betweenleft-behind children and school; thirdly, from the perspective of the social environment,rural adverse environmental has serious negative impact on the left-behind children,left-behind children are vulnerable to the adverse effects of peer groups and mass mediareported adverse effects on left-behind children in society. All these factors havecontributed to the current situation of the left-behind children.Based on the above reasons, the author puts forward the corresponding countermeasuresin order to solve the existing problems of the left-behind children in moral educationeffectively, the specific measures as follows: Firstly, optimize the environment of thefamily and moral education, parents need to strengthen the awareness of education, parentsneed to improve the ways and means of moral education, and parents and left-behindchildren need to strengthen communication and exchanges, guardian need to establishawareness of the moral education of the left-behind children; Secondly, Schools need tochange the concept of moral education, strengthen the moral responsibility for education,carry out a wealth of moral education activities, establish the profile of the left-behindchildren and strengthen communication and education of their parents and guardians;thirdly, we should optimize the social environment, the news media should correct theguidance of public opinion and we should pay attention to the importance of volunteersto countryside services; fourthly, the government need to pay attention to the protection ofchildren left behind, specifically to strengthen the reform of the household registrationsystem and increase investment in rural education funding.This writer has researched on a town school on the north of Jiangsu province. The writer analysis the results of research and then finds out the causes and then puts forward thefeasible countermeasures, in order to solve the problem of the moral education of ruralleft-behind children.
