| Interest is the psychological tendency with positive mood people to understand something or like some kind of activity. It is the most realistic and active internal motivation driving people to activity. However, fully stimulate students’interest in the process of learning and arouse the enthusiasm of students learning, will play an important role for learning English. In the teaching process, the combination of direct and indirect interest, making full use of teaching material characteristics, stimulating students’ learning interest, can promote students’ interest in English study, so as to improve the quality of English teaching.Teaching strategy is refers to the teacher make teaching goal and plan in the process of teaching tasks, targeted to select teaching contents, teaching organization forms and teaching methods according to the different scenarios of teaching and the characteristics of different students, therefore, form the efficiency significance of a specific teaching plan. Therefore, according to the current research about strategies in English teaching at home and abroad, in combined with the actual teaching background and conditions, this article designed a questionnaire for high school students’English study interest present situation. According to the results of the survey, this text analyzed high school students’ recognition of English studying, the relationship of English achievement and interest in English learning, the main purpose and motivation of English learning, etc. Then, the author analyzed the current existing problems in the high school students’ English learning, and the reasons of these problems. The author discussed the influence factors of high school English study interest. First starting from the individual factors, emphasizing the students should set up the correct values, and establish a good English learning attitude. Second, from the external factors such as teachers, teaching environment and parents, the text discussed the influence on high school students English study interest.At last, according to the current research results of experts and scholars at home and abroad, the high school students’ English learning status and the actual teaching conditions and teaching scenes, the author puts forward a series of improvement measures. These improvements measures mainly from discuss the teachers’ teaching, students’ self-regulation, with the school policy, the optimization of family education and so on. In a word, the study analyzed the domestic and foreign experts and scholars’ research on teaching strategies and learning English interest. After combined with the accumulation of experience and theoretical thinking from the author in teaching practice, this study put forward a series of improved teaching strategies and methods. This will provide theoretical basis for the development of English education, and play a reference and inspiration effect on the professional development of teaching strategy. |
