| The paper is about the analysis and research on the historical origin of the Zonghe Fist. Analising the founder Fang Shipei and his successors, the routine cases, techniques and the development in overseas countries and the area of Taiwan, it digs deeper into this Chinese boxing’s theory foundation, cultural roots and innovation of life imitating. In addition, with a brief introduction of its founder Fang Shipei and his descendents combined with the relevant historical facts of the Chinese martial art and Fang’s family, the thesis expounds how to practice the fist.In this paper, the author points out the current situation of the Chinese boxing and the factors restricting its further development, including lack of document records and hardware, as well as insufficient promotion and inheritance. The paper analyses the cause of the existing problems above and puts forward the importance of inheritance and development, further arrangement and protection of the martial art as an intangible cultural heritage, the promotion of the fitness activities, and creating the relevant cultural industry. It’s also necessary to use the cultural exchange between mainland and the Taiwan Straits as the carrier to increase its cultural influence abroad, to create a favorite environment, and meanwhile to strive for a state-level intangible cultural heritage with a completely new look at home and abroad. In the end, the value of Zonghe Fist is emphasized,include health value, spiritual value and cultural value,and modern value such as economic value and so on, the purpose is getting more people to understand,learn more about and get involved in the Chinese boxing and then passing on the culture that originated in Fuqing, a city with special geographical environment and history and that bears patriotism and national spirit, and at the same time promoting the cultural exchange across the Taiwan Straits and the international community for the benefit of the people and the society. |
