According to the practical situations in Sichuan province, this paper adopts the representative samples and index to construct a efficient and comprehensive model which targets specifically on the provincial population growth and its index. This would provide a long-term real-time database and supported by the related theories, a solid analysis on the population growth of Sichuan province has been presented.In more details, this paper firstly goes through rich sources of related documents and defines the whole structure and methods adopted in this paper. Secondly, on the basis of speculations and reasoning of population growth, a model is presented. Thirdly, with the summary of domestic and abroad population growth experience, the paper construes the comprehensive monitor index system of Sichuan population growth, and by the layer analytical method this paper assign different weighs on different layers index. Fourthly, take static samples on the factors which have influence on the population growth, such as social economy, education, environment and public health system. These could be used to estimate the current condition of Sichuan population growth. As we’ve already known, the Sichuan province has gained the following achievement:1. There is huge development in all sorts. The comprehensive index that are used to grade the population growth has risen in the year of2000to2010, outrunning the contemporary national average rate.2. New ways of the population growth has emerged, compared to the traditional simple mode. This has happened in multiple ways. In2010, the balance development index read lower than its counterparts" if we remember the fact that Sichuan has a lot of history burden. However this index increase itself is impressive considering the huge amount of work had been done to lay down a solid foundation for the future.3. During the last10years, Sichuan has showed itself the ability to integrate all sorts of strengths to help the growth of population.Meanwhile, there are also some minor problems listed as follows:1. There is a huge gap and difference between the factors that influence the population growth of the Sichuan province. According to the researches, the discontinuity of the internal factors and external factors has actually shown a rather asynchronous development. For example, it is obvious that the population has grown fast, with a relatively higher average level compared to other provinces. While the structure of population evolves in a very slow way, thus the aging percentage has risen and the potential problem concerning this issue requires our more and more attention.2. As far as the mutual support of all facets of the population growth is concerned, there is a strikingly difference between them. Also, the quantity of the population has a very limited stimuli on the shift of the population structure.3. More and more problems emerged in the process of optimization of the population structure.
