With the expansion of the scope of the socio-professional specialization,more social career is bound to join the process of specialization. The specialization ofprimary and middle school principals is not only conform to the trend ofsocio-professional specialization, but also the inevitable requirement to enhance thelevel of primary and middle school education. The specialization of primary andmiddle school principals is the inevitable choice for China’s education developmentand the development of school professional management. In terms of how to promotethe professional development of principals, we are facing many problems andchallenges, this article choose the representative and typicality of primary and middleschool in Chengdu city, Sichuan province——Qingbaijiang district school as anexample to study school principals’ development of primary and middle school.Through surveys, literature research, the principal of self professional developmentanalysis, interviews and a variety of methods, to make the theory into practice, andcombined with my own experience in the process of growing the principal, to clearlygrasp the status of professional development of Qingbaijiang district primary andmiddle school principals, through analysis and research, to explore the inherent lawand external demand of primary and middle school principals’ professionaldevelopment, so as to put forward some suggestions and measures to promote theprofessional development of primary and middle school principals of Qingbaijiangdistrict, so as to promote the primary and middle school principals’ professionaldevelopment of this region. And hope that these suggestions and measures have certainenlightenment and reference to the principals professional development of primary andmiddle schools in our country.The main content of this study include:(1)To define the concept of professional, principal specialization, the specializationof primary and middle schools principals, analyzing the connotation of thespecialization of primary and middle schools principals, make the three dimensions professional knowledge, professional ability, professional spirit of the specialization ofprimary and middle schools principals as mainline.(2)Interpret national provinces, municipalities (counties) long-term educationreform and development planning and the Chengdu education " three dimensions "context, focusing on analysis status of the specialization of primary and middleschools principals of Qingbaijiang district, found that the level of principalsprofessional development has gap with the new requirements of Chengdu promotionthe “education equality, education modernization and education internationalization”under the professional knowledge, professional ability, professional spirit of theprimary and middle schools principals, there is a big gap especially the professionalknowledge structure of school education ideological leadership and school culture lead.This paper made analysis for the cause of this gap, mainly from primary school ofprofessional knowledge, professional ability and professional spirit of the threedimensions of the specialization of primary and middle schools principals withChengdu to promote education development level between the "three dimensions "new request does not adapt the reason carries on the analysis.(3)Through investigation and research, theoretical analysis and the ponder earnestly,for the principal specialization strategy of Qingbaijiang district, put forward policysuggestions to promote the principal professional development of primary andsecondary schools: implement "Outside to promote self-excited Strategy ". Outsidepromoting administrative departments of education should be empowering theprincipals, the school should go to the " administrative " tendency to gradually schooleducators, the strict principals qualifications innovative principals evaluationmechanism------especially the introduction of social evaluation mechanisms, theestablishment of Principal ladder promotion system. Self-excited means principals ofself-motivation, to build the principals’ self-design, self-learning, self-reflection andself-study of the long-term mechanism. Hope the "Outside to promote self-excitedStrategy " has some inspiration and promotion role of the specialization of primary andmiddle schools principals of Chengdu and even our country.
