Abstract For a long time ever, the emotion, will, study ability of the Senior under the pressure of College Entrance Examination receive much concern from their teachers and parents, among whom there exist our so-called "Students on Line". That is to say, their subject scores just range from10minus to10plus of our passing score, thus leading their inferiority in the academic competition. To some extent, whether the "senior on line" can successfully pass the line not only influences their own academic achievement, arousing their parents concern, but also reflects the enrolment rate and the local reputation of the middle school. Therefore, based on the two scientific inventory:the Big Five Personality and LASSI, my study is aimed at identifying the personality of our "students on line", observing their score trend, and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of their individual learning strategies, which can help us put forward some practical methods to improve their academic results.The results shows that the Neurotic Personality accounts for the majority proportion of the "senior on line", so we can see our "senior on line" are likely to be sensitive, vulnerable, and their academic results are no wonder instable. The second comes the Conscientiousness Personality, telling us "the senior on line" usually can discipline themselves well, but can not find proper learning strategies, or even if they could, they possibly could not keep on. Combining with the LASSI, we find that the correlation coefficient of the Big Five Personality and LASSI from the top to the bottom are as follows:Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Openness, Agreeableness, Neuroticism.The study appeals that strengthening the personality education upon the senior students is our prior task to help them adopt proper learning strategies. The leading concept is:Arouse confidence to enlighten their ulterior motive, spread effective moral education to create a positive atmosphere.
