This study based on the law of individual cognitive development, to see theknowledge sharing as pro-social behaviors, and investigated the relationship amongthe Empathy, Theory of Mind and Knowledge Sharing Motivation of collegestudents.We used questionnaire to survey547college students from some universitiesin Anhui province and analyzed the data by the software SPSS18.0and AMOS.Results show that: college students who has an average level of Theory ofMind usually has a good average Empathy and strong Knowledge SharingMotivation;Boys and girls showed significant differences in total score of Empathy,emotional empathy, behavior empathy, Theory of Mind and it’s factors like Doublecheat task and one of the Knowledge Sharing Motivation’s factor.Undergraduatecollege students and junior college students showed significant differences inEmpathy, emotional empathy, behavior empathy, Double cheat tasks, storycomprehension tasks, Knowledge Sharing Motivation and factor of rules to obey,and the collective emotion and responsibility.The more important is college students’Empathy, Theory of Mind andKnowledge Sharing Motivation showed significantly positive correlation, Empathyand Theory of Mind showed significant predicting effects on Knowledge SharingMotivation,Empathy influences the Knowledge Sharing Motivation by a partialmediating role of Theory of Mind.
