| Objective: Social cognition refers to a set of complex psychological abilities formed on the basis of perception, processing, interpretation and response to social stimuli in the process of individual growth, which plays a key role in our adaptation to the society.Temporoparietal junction(TPJ)is a cortical region located at the junction of the inferior parietal lobe, the lateral occipital cortex and the superior posterior temporal sulus,as well as Brudmann’s 39 area.Imaging processing results show that the TPJ involved in episodic memory, time, language and words, pay attention to and a number of cognitive activities such as social cognition, this research mainly focused on the TPJ social cognitive function, the theory of mind(TOM)theroy of mind, and empathy(empathy)are the main two components, the damage to the psychological theory and empathy leads to individuals cannot form a good interpersonal relationship,it is difficult to a healthy life.In recent years, there are few studies on social cognition intervention by transcranial alternating current stimulation(t ACS),and the results are inconsistent. However,it is a reliable and worth exploring physical intervention mode, which has the advantages of noninvasive, effective and convenient operation. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of high-definition transcranial alternating current stimulation(HD-t ACS)on social cognition(theory of mind, empathy)in healthy college students by interfering with temporoparietal junction(TPJ).Methods: A total of 39 healthy adults were recruited, including 20 in the real stimulation group and 19 in the sham stimulation group.Experiment needs 10 to 11 days, subjects background information to fill in,neuropsychological test, test of empathy and the theory of psychological tests, for ten consecutive days after accepting transcranial alternating current stimulation, once every 20 minutes a day, right after the last day of the stimulus to the same neuropsychological test, test of empathy, and theory of mind. After the experiment,SPSS20.0 software was used for statistical analysis of multiple data. Results: Before the stimulation, there were no significant differences in demographic, neuropsychological tests, the Multidimensional Empathy Scale, and the yoni test between the real stimulation group and the sham stimulation group at baseline. After the stimulation, the performance of the true and false stimulus group on Stroop word,Stroop interference and number line A all improved, while the false stimulus group had no significant improvement. The interaction between the true and false stimulus group was significant on the multidimensional empathy test and the yoni test. The response time of the true and false stimulus group was significantly reduced, but the decrease was more obvious in the true stimulus group. Conclusion: this study used transcranial alternating current stimulation intervention healthy college students right temporal association area, the results show that transcranial alternating current stimulation can improve individual ability of empathy and the psychological theory, also can improve some basic cognitive inhibition and executive function(reaction),the current application of transcranial ac exciting research is less, the future can be as an effective intervention mode is applied to the clinical go up. |
