| This issue is studying on the basis of sorting and analyzing various types of literature, comprehending the current situation through questionnaire surveys and individual interviews, recording and analyzing the teaching through class observations and teaching practices. The purpose of this issue is to clarify the significance of appreciating of the ugliness in high school art appreciation, to explore the methods and the recommendations for high school students to appreciating the ugliness.In the introduction I present a new perspective of high school art teaching:put Appreciation of Ugliness Education into the high school art appreciation. And the conclusion pointed out that while promoting the Appreciation of Ugliness Education should also be aware of that the Appreciation of Ugliness Education once be overkill, it easily into the misunderstanding.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the article consists of three sections. The first chapter explores ugliness has its unique status and significance and Appreciation of Ugliness is essentially to criticize and resist the outdated customs and bad regulations. The second chapter analyzes the Appreciation of Ugliness be important to the high school art education is determined by both internal and external factors. The third chapter analyzes the Appreciation of Ugliness Education in the high school has some specific goals. And the selection and organization of the teaching contents of Appreciation of Ugliness Education should pay more attention to the following questions:the first is to distinguish the fine arts’tendency, the second is to properly increase the domestic contemporary art works, the third is to pay attention to the students’ real experiences, and the last is to guide the extracurricular ugliness appreciation advisably.Through the teaching record and analysis, I try to find the problems about the ugliness appreciation in the teaching process and propose some methods for high school students to put the ugliness appreciation into effect.The ugliness has vigorous vitality.
