According to the2011edition of " Chinese curriculum standards of compulsory education"requirements, classroom teaching should arouse the initiative and creativity of students, and itemphasizes the implementation of independent, exploratory and cooperative study in theinteraction of teacher-student, student-student and student-textbook. However, in some areasof China, junior middle school language education model is lagging behind, which is seriouslyaffecting the improvement of effectiveness and the quality of teaching and is not conducive tostimulate the students’ interest in learning. Theme-based teaching, the theme or topic ofteaching for short, is one of the teaching methods in line with the spirit of the new curriculumreform. To improve the effectiveness of language teaching, I read plenty of professional books.Combined with my own teaching practice, I also referred to many excellent teachers’ teachingcases and finally chose to use the theme of teaching. Through practice, I think that the theme ofteaching can emphasize the experience of students, which means the process that students canfeel and experience the formation of knowledge by themselves. It emphasizes the developmentof students’ creative thinking, and the improvement of students’ ability to apply the knowledgeto solve practical problems. It also emphasizes the integration of both in and out of the class,which aims to truly create an efficient class. Besides, it makes the language classroom becomemore interesting, gives full play to the initiative of the students, and is conducive to theimprovement of the students’ knowledge and the formation of value orientation. Therefore, Iestablished the subject of " the Research on the Practice of the Theme of Chinese Teaching inJunior Middle School", I hope that through the practical study of the theme of Chinese teachingin junior middle school, I can explore a kind of feasible teaching methods, which can letstudents develop the habit of independent study. Based on this, teachers will improve their ownChinese literacy and the scientific research level.This paper focuses on the combination of theory and practice, and mainly discusses aboutapplication of the theme of Chinese teaching in junior middle school. This paper consists of fiveparts. The first part focuses on the background and origin of the theme of teaching. Afterunderstanding the direction of the topic and the background of theme teaching, I start to conduct my own research on the base of sufficient resources. The second part defines the themeof Chinese teaching in junior middle school from three aspects, which are "What is the theme ofteaching?"," the features of the theme of teaching " and " the requirements of the theme ofChinese teaching in junior middle school". This defines the connotation and extension of thepractical research so as to make the research develop around the topic. The third part talks aboutthe goals of the theme of Chinese teaching in junior middle school. To let students manage thebasic knowledge is a prerequisite. It is important for students to learn through developing habitsof independent learning and cultivate students’ innovative consciousness. The fourth partdescribes the principles of the theme of Chinese teaching in junior middle school. They areprinciple of perusing the text, principle of pluralism interpretation, principle of refiningintegration, and principle of innovation and reconstruction. The fifth part is combined with myexperiences in practice, focusing on the implementation strategies and case studies in my ownpractice of the theme of Chinese teaching. As for the implementation strategies, I have studiedand summarized the strategies of carrying out teaching activities from refining and enrichingthemes to the implementation and evaluation of theme teaching. As for the case studies, I chosetwo main themes and placed the results of them in the paper, One is a "family love" theme, andthe other is "nature advocation". On the one hand, the "family love" theme is more close tostudents’ life, the focus of which is to guide students to understand in comparison andintegration of multiple texts, and then create by themselves on the base of understanding thetext. On the other hand, as for the" nature advocation" theme, I mainly regard representatives asa breakthrough, leading the students to interpret the characters through the text and vice versa.Then I guide students to do some further reading and let them experience by themselves, whichis helpful to create their own works.
